In 2015 the Georgia Composite Board passed the Telemental Health rule that created standards for online counseling and supervision. Following COVID and the pandemic there has been a large amount of therapy and learning occurring online. The intent of this workshop is to present best practices for therapists and student interns in Georgia who are looking for legal best practices guidelines. This will include how to introduce telehealth to clients, how to establish therapeutic rapport online, and how to manage crisis or other issues. This interactive workshop will cover CPCS and Telemental Health guidelines as well as reminders regarding technology needs. This workshop is approved for 3 ETHIC hours.
